4 Statements

Boro Pregnancy Counseling Center operates according to the following principles:

Mission Statement

Boro Pregnancy Counseling Center exists to inspire life in those experiencing unplanned pregnancy through comprehensive, compassionate care and the hope found only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit through whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.
  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Statement of Ministry Principles

  1. This ministry belongs to God, not to any one person.  We are merely fellow servants in the work of His kingdom.
  2. While the Lord chooses to place His mantle of approval on the ministry of Boro Pregnancy Counseling Center (BPCC), we recognize that, nevertheless, He gives and sometimes takes away.  Should He close this ministry’s doors, we accept His leading and yield the outcome to Him.  Until then, we devote every ounce of energy to the task at hand.
  3. We strive not to operate the ministry at a deficit.
  4. We will be good stewards of the monetary and material contributions made in faith to BPCC.
  5. Positions on the Board of Directors, the Board of Reference, the Board of Advisors, and BPCC volunteers are all voluntary.
  6. We will never sell or rent our mailing list to those wishing to use the names and addresses of our supporters.

To summarize, we will try to remember always that Jesus Christ is our possessor and our disposessor. He ordained and blessed this ministry.  It belongs entirely to Him.
